My journey to becoming a Thai bodywork practitioner started in Thailand. I had been feeling a call for change in my life for some time. I didn't know for what reason then, but the Universe was drawing me to Thailand to experience the life changing therapeutic practice of Thai Massage or commonly called Thai Yoga Bodywork in the States. I fell in love with Thai Bodywork and the deep sense of renewed wellbeing it left me with in Thailand, so I came home from this life changing vacation and started taking classes and workshops to learn this form of healing. I felt the need to bring this ancient practice of healing to my friends, family and to Bakersfield. I studied Thai Bodywork Theory with Nephyr Jacobson of the Naga Center in Portland and also received certifications from Deon DeWet in Ojai California. After a year of study I went back to Thailand and received a certification for a short course in Traditional Thai Massage. Shortly after coming home from my second trip to Thailand I learned of Samsara Wellness and decided I needed to be apart of such an incredibly talented team that has an aligned passion of helping others heal through all kinds of different healing modalities.
