I am a Taiwanese native and an experienced yoga teacher with over nine years experience including working at True Yoga in Taipei prior to the relocation to Bakersfield in 2009.
I started my very first yoga class more than a decade and a half ago not knowing the benefits for growth and healing. In my early 20s, I simultaneously lost my grandma, aunt and dad in the same year. Yoga became a shelter to relieve me from all the pain I was experiencing, simply moving my body and feeling it all. It changed my perspectives.
I completed 500 hour yoga teacher training under Scott Miller in Riverside and continue my study by attending trainings and workshops to different cities in California and Nevada.
Growing up and immersed in Eastern culture, I believe anyone who has a body can practice yoga. It shifts and changes but always meets you exactly where you are with what you have and have been given under any circumstances.
My classes incorporate music, breath and mindfulness with a focus on key alignment points and creative, yet grounded, flow. I am dedicated to empowering others, sharing the healing properties of yoga and being a source of inspiration for those who seek calm in the storms.
